Born in the Scottish port city of Glasgow, David Yarrow (*1966) began photographing at a young age. At the age of 20, he was already working as a photographer for the London Times. Deutschlandfunk radio recently described Yarrow as a "grand master of animal photography". Yarrow is known for his impressive close-ups of wild animals. His pictures sparkle with passion, drama and empathy. The photographer is characterized by his fearlessness in the wild - regardless of whether he has to set up camp in the Alaskan wilderness for his shots or is surrounded by Siberian tigers locked in a cage.
