Harry Benson (*1929) photographed the Beatles, Muhammad Ali, Frank Sinatra, Richard Nixon, Michael Jackson and many other artists. The Scot also captured Kennedy's assassination and shocked the world with his documentation of the Somali famine. For over half a century, he portrayed politicians, artists and athletes for magazines such as "Vanity Fair" and "People" with tenacity, charm and great empathy and also reported from crisis areas. Over the last 50 years, countless of his pictures have traveled around the world.
